Hello from New York City. Today is May 5th, week eight of PAUSE in New York. It has now been exactly 52 days since the mayor ordered all non-essential businesses closed and for us to shelter-in-place.  I don’t think anyone would have ever imagined something like this to happen to us in our lifetime.

If you are reading this diary entry, I hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and taking this time to slow down, reflect, read, play games, or simply do nothing but enjoy each other's company (although if your home is like mine, tension can run high at times!). But Spring has finally arrived, and it seems there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel.

We've continued to keep ourselves. I'm sketching and my mom is busy making more Little Moonies, some of which can be seen on our shop site.

From my last diary entry on April 17th, I've heard from some of you that the little ones don’t like wearing the standard face masks that are out there, so my mom took some time out and made three fun ones. And… we are giving them away for free.  They are 100 percent cotton, double sided, and made form our whimsical prints. It is first come, first serve. Limit is one per person, and you must live in the U.S. It's our way of saying thank you. Here are the three styles based on my sketch.

More to come in the following days and weeks.

Be well. Stay safe! Lots of love,

 Thuy
