We are looking for a motivated, curious, and passionate individual to join us as a Manager in Training. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or someone with 1–2 years of retail experience who is ready to grow into a leadership role. As a Manager in Training, you will work alongside our Head of Retail and learn the ins and outs of running a boutique retail store, preparing you to eventually lead one yourself.

 

What You Will Do

1. Learn & Lead:

  • Soak up everything about boutique retail operations, from inventory to merchandising to team dynamics.
  • Shadow the Store Manager and gradually step into leadership responsibilities.
  • Gain deep product knowledge of our curated children's apparel, accessories, and gift collections.

2. Customer Experience:

  • Deliver gold-standard customer service that reflects Little Moony’s values: warmth, attentiveness, and storytelling.
  • Help create a welcoming, joyful in-store environment where every guest feels seen and inspired.

3. Operational Excellence:

  • Assist with store opening/closing, daily inventory checks, and restocking.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, product presentation, and store upkeep.
  • Manage online order fulfillment and contribute to back-of-house efficiency.

4. Team Collaboration:

  • Support the development and motivation of part-time team members.
  • Embrace coaching and feedback with a growth mindset.

5. Entrepreneurial Thinking:

  • Contribute ideas that improve workflow, drive sales, and elevate the customer experience.
  • Approach daily challenges with initiative and a can-do attitude.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • A natural people person with a love for children and service-centered retail.
  • A self-starter who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • A team player who leads by example, communicates openly, and takes pride in their work.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, Google Docs, and basic office software.
  • A recent college graduate or someone with 1–2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
